The announcement text:
The Resident Manager is expected to perform necessary and appropriate maintenance

functions in common areas and respond to in-unit service maintenance requests promptly

and professionally, in addition to ensuring the building¡¦s mechanical systems (including

operation of the boilers, heating, domestic hot water, air conditioning, and plumbing) are

functioning properly. He is also expected to train and supervise the maintenance staff,

including maintenance technicians, porters and doormen/concierges. He will also

establish measurable standards, and see that the staff performs to those standards. The

Resident Manager must also serve in an advisory capacity to the Property Manager.



Position Requirements



􀂾 Minimum of ten (10) years of superintendent experience in a luxury

building of 200+ units in NYC.

􀂾 Strong knowledge in all building mechanical systems (boilers, hot water

heaters, HVAC, etc.)

􀂾 Skilled in HVAC, electrical, appliance and plumbing repair

􀂾 Excellent communication and people skills

􀂾 Must possess strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to

supervise staffƒn

􀂾 Must be well organized and meticulous with respect to detail

􀂾 Working knowledge of computers and MS Office

􀂾 Able to prioritize tasks properly and deliver in a timely mannerƒn within

budget

􀂾 Able to efficiently and properly handle simultaneous projects in building

􀂾 Must live on-site and be available 24-hours a day to handle emergencies
